Round Onion and Chicken Simmered in Curry

Round Onion Chicken Pieces (with bone in) (A) Ingredients Salt Curry powder Ketchup Large bell pepper (red) Garlic Salt, Vegetable oil |
3 Medium 1-1/4 – 1-1/2 lb. 1 1/3 teaspoons
2 Tablespoons 2 Tablespoons 1 red pepper 1 clove As desired |
1. Cut the onion into quarters or sixths.
2. Rinse chicken lightly in salted water and dry using paper towels. Put the (A) ingredients in a plastic bag and add the chicken pieces. Massage the seasonings into the chicken. Let it marinate for 10 min.
3. Cut bell pepper into bite-size pieces and cut garlic in half.
4. Heat the oil and the garlic in a large pot. When the oil gets hot, add chicken pieces. When you smell the curry, add 1 1/2 cup water, onion and bell pepper. Do not stir. Cover and let simmer for 20 minutes at medium heat.
