Aloha Challenge
Aloha Challenge is a Reality TV series designed to be a nexus between Japanese and American cultures. Over seven weekly, half-hour episodes, eight bilingual college interns battle for jobs, points, and a $10,000 grand prize by sharing Hawai’i with the world through blogs & filmmaking. Three teams of Japanese and American high school students -- who barely speak each others' languages — decide interns’ fates by hiring them as producers of their projects in each round. Winning interns advance; losers get fired and eliminated.
Aloha Challenge aired on KIKU-TV from November to December, 2008.
